Meet Buccee! This adorable pup is ready to fill your home with joy and plenty of puppy kisses. Buccee's mom was rescued from a dangerous situation near a busy freeway, and thankfully, she delivered a beautiful litter safely. Buccee was born on March 19, 2026, making him about 6 weeks old as of April 30, 2026. He's a male and will be ready for his forever home around 12 weeks old, once fully vaccinated and microchipped. He currently weighs about 4 pounds and is expected to grow into a medium to large-sized dog, similar to his mother who weighs around 60 pounds. Buccee will be adopted on a neuter contract and will be neutered between 6 months and 1 year of age.
Ideal Home
Buccee is a bundle of joy who gets along with everyone, including dogs, cats, and children. He loves belly rubs and playing with his foster siblings in the yard. He enjoys playtime but also loves to cuddle up on the lap. While he would thrive with another dog in the home to show him the ropes, it's not a requirement. A fully fenced yard or a very active family would be ideal to help him burn off his puppy energy.
Ongoing Health
Buccee is a young pup and will be fully vaccinated and microchipped before adoption. He will be adopted on a neuter contract and will be neutered between 6 months and 1 year of age.
Training & Support
Buccee is not yet potty trained, and we are looking for a patient family who will continue working with him. He is learning quickly and making great progress. He is also working on crate training and is currently doing well in a gated room. We strongly encourage all adopters of puppies under one year old to enroll in puppy obedience classes to help them thrive.

Buccee is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and can be transported to his adopter once arrangements are made.
