Delta Dawn

Meet Delta Dawn, a sweet 40lb Staffy and Cattle Dog mix with an estimated birthday of May 6, 2022. Delta Dawn has a heart of gold and a truly inspiring story. She was found pregnant and facing a difficult situation at the county shelter, but thankfully, our rescue stepped in. She found comfort in a foster home where she safely welcomed her puppies. Sadly, all 11 of her puppies were lost to fading puppy syndrome, a heartbreaking experience for everyone involved. Delta Dawn is incredibly sweet with the softest fur, making her irresistible for cuddles, which she absolutely loves. She even enjoys trips to Tractor Supply, doesn't mind baths, and has a great time exploring the aisles.

Delta Dawn is looking for her person who will shower her with belly rubs and show her the loving, cherished life she deserves. She's described as spunky, loving, and ready to be your best friend and adventure partner.

Delta Dawn is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Delta Dawn is kennel and potty trained. She is currently working on leash training, as her excitement to explore can sometimes outpace her foster mom. She's a quick learner and eager to please. She has also learned how to play like a dog and adores balls, though she's still mastering the art of bringing them back.
