Ivy

Ivy is a gentle, affectionate girl who thrives on companionship. She walks nicely on a loose leash, is impressively responsive to her name when called, and loves napping while cuddled up with you on the couch. She enjoys walks in nature and taking in all the sights and smells. Ivy is curious about squirrels (she’ll happily pause to watch them in a tree), but with a little encouragement or a treat, she’s easy to redirect and continue on her walk. Ivy gets along well with other dogs, greeting them politely and enjoying relaxed, friendly interactions. She’s also courteous and calm indoors, making her easy to live with in almost any setting. Ivy’s previous family was heartbroken to have to surrender her due to breed restrictions at their new apartment—through no fault of her own. Now she’s looking for a forever home that will appreciate her love, intelligence, and cuddly personality.

Ideal Home

Ivy would thrive in a household with adults, teens, and/or another compatible dog. She’s ready for adventures, walks, treats, and most importantly, endless cuddles.

Ivy has been spayed.

Training & Support

Ivy can be a bit sensitive to loud or new noises, but reassurance from her person quickly settles her. She's housetrained, well-behaved indoors, and respects boundaries unless invited onto furniture. Smart and intuitive, it seems that she would learn a routine quickly.
