Max

Max is a 6-year-old, 71 lb male Akita/Husky mix with one striking blue eye and a gentle soul. He's neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and fully house-trained, not having had a single accident in his foster home. Max truly loves life and is an intelligent, obedient dog eager to learn. He builds strong bonds with people when given time and space, and once he feels safe, his calm and happy personality shines.

Max was found at a kill shelter in NY and was understandably frightened. He's come a long way and is now comfortable and happy around people. He loves walks, exploring new places, and going on car rides. Max also has a sweet, playful side and enjoys carrying around his favorite toys. He thrives with structure and enjoys relaxing in his crate after walks. While he may be a bit shy at first, he becomes a loyal and devoted companion once he trusts you.
