Hudson

Hudson is a handsome 3-year-old, 120-pound Tibetan Mastiff who joined Our Pack in August 2024 after a difficult start to life. He was found covered in scabs and very thin. While he was given a temporary home, it became clear that his strong breed traits were not a good fit for that environment. Hudson needs an experienced home that understands guardian breeds to help him live his happiest life. Tibetan Mastiffs are known for being protective, stubborn, loyal, and strong. Hudson is not a cuddly dog and enjoys patrolling the yard and protecting his home. He loves the snow and kennels well, even doing great at the groomer in his previous home.

Ideal Home

Hudson thrives with experienced owners who understand guardian breeds. He is looking for a home with teens and older, and can live with medium to large dogs. He cannot live with cats or small animals. He is not comfortable with strangers in his space, so kenneling is recommended, especially around men or those he is not comfortable with initially.

Ongoing Health

Hudson is up to date on his vaccinations and is fixed. His adoption includes a certified vet inspection and prior vetting paperwork.

Training & Support

Hudson is not a snuggler and requires owners who understand his guardian breed nature. He is good with other dogs, especially medium to large breeds, and kennels well.
