Meet Kermit

Hi Ho! It's Kermit the Dog!

Kermit is a smart, sturdy, handsome 1yo Black Mouth Cur/Boxer mix weighing in at around 56lbs, with a striking cream coat brushed in soft tiger striping, and the kind of floppy ears that seal the deal.

Calm, curious, and wonderfully gentle, Kermit takes life in stride including having an injury in one eye and a hitch in is step from run-in with a car, both in the process of healing, it doesn't slow him down one bit. He enjoys exploring his surroundings without being overly energetic and is happiest close to his people. He totally identifies as small dog and will plop himself in your lap for hugs and kisses if given the chance!

Kermit leans toward the needy side emotionally and finds a lot of comfort in companionship, both human and canine. Because of that, he would truly thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time.

Kermit is ready to bring his sweet nature, steady companionship, and enormous heart to a forever family of his own.

S.T.A.R. Group, Inc is a foster-based organization located in Corpus Christi, TX. All pets are in a foster home in South Texas and are transported once adopted. Our animals are listed in different cities throughout the country that has transport available.

Adoption Fee includes a microchip, all age-appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, current on recommended preventions and a ride on the next available transport to their new families' area.

Applications are processed in the order they are received. S.T.A.R. Group is made up of volunteers, so please give us a couple of days to begin processing your application.
