Meet Nemo, the three-legged wonder!
Nemo's story could have ended in tragedy, but thanks to one compassionate person, he's here today searching for the forever family he deserves. Nemo was struck by a car, and the person who witnessed the accident immediately called Animal Care Services for help. With a severely broken front leg, Nemo found himself on the euthanasia list. Unable to bear the thought of this sweet dog losing his life, the good Samaritan stepped up and fostered him through ACS.
Over the following months, Nemo's leg continued to deteriorate due to a lack of proper medical care. Desperate to get him the help he needed, his foster reached out to us. Unfortunately, by that point, the damage was too severe, and Nemo required a front leg amputation.
But don't feel sorry for Nemo—he certainly doesn't feel sorry for himself! This incredible boy has embraced life on three legs with a smile on his face and a wag in his tail. Nemo is playful, affectionate, resilient, and full of joy. He loves spending time with his people, enjoys making dog friends, and never lets his missing leg slow him down. Whether he's exploring the yard, going for walks, or soaking up cuddles on the couch, Nemo approaches every day with enthusiasm and gratitude.
After everything he's endured, Nemo is ready for a fresh start with a family who will love him unconditionally and give him the happy ending he's fought so hard for.
