Petey

Petey is a charming 2-year-old, 48lb bundle of love with a tan and white coat. He's a sweet and gentle companion who adores his people and would be happiest with a home full of toys and a cozy spot to relax, preferably near you! Petey is known for his ability to fall asleep just about anywhere and in any position, but his favorite place will always be by your side. He's a well-mannered fellow who walks nicely on a leash, entertains himself with toys (he particularly enjoys chewing on harder ones, but variety is the spice of life!), and loves a good petting session. He even gets the occasional zoomies! A recent outing with a volunteer revealed his love for car rides and his excellent behavior at home, including being house-trained and polite enough to wait for an invitation to the couch.

Ideal Home

Petey would love a home with plenty of toys and lots of human interaction. He's a co-exister and has done well with other dogs at the shelter, so he could potentially go home with a well-matched canine friend after a meet-and-greet. Whether he's the only pet or joining a pack, he promises to be a sweet and gentle companion.

Petey has been neutered.

Petey is house-trained and has polite manners. He seems to enjoy chewing on hard toys and can self-entertain.
