snoop

Welcome Snoop to our pack! Snoop was found by a kind citizen after they came outside and saw blood on their porch. They followed the trail and found Snoop with a severely injured back paw. He was brought to Veterinary Emergency Group by Claudia from Haverstraw Animal Control and Hi Tor staff met her there. Snoop needed emergency surgery to close the wound in his paw and was cared for by one of our incredible foster families for the first few days so he could recover away from the shelter. Snoop is now back with us and is ready for his forever home! He is about 12-18 months old and weighs in at a mighty 87 lbs! We have listed Snoop as a Labradoodle, but he does show some characteristics of an Irish Wolfhound or Great Pyrenees mix. He does shed.

Ideal Home

Snoop is great with people and would love a big family. He would need to be the ONLY pet in the home for now.

Ongoing Health

Snoop's back paw injury required emergency surgery. He is not yet neutered or microchipped, but this will be done next week.

Training & Support

Snoop would benefit from a family who has experience training large dogs because he is still a big puppy in a large dog's body. He is slowly learning how to walk on a leash.
