Ike is a goofy, lovable Labrador Retriever mix whose favorite thing in the world is being with people. He has never met a stranger and believes everyone is a potential best friend! This happy-go-lucky guy is full of classic Lab enthusiasm and would love a family that enjoys walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. Ike is still learning that personal space exists and may occasionally forget just how big he is, but his affectionate nature and eagerness to please make him a great candidate for continued training. Ike's promise: "I might not fit in your lap, but I'm going to try anyway and I'll make you smile every day." If you're looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and an even bigger personality, Ike is ready to meet you!

Ongoing Health
All vetting is included, including DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.
Training & Support
Ike is still learning that personal space exists and may occasionally forget just how big he is. His affectionate nature and eagerness to please make him a great candidate for continued training. We know our dogs very well and have spent countless hours with them, learning all of their quirks and goofy personalities. We provide socialization for our dogs through playgroups and one on one bonding time, where we will also work on their other skills such as leash training and basic commands. Our goal is to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts and just want someone to be understanding with them, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!

- The adoption fee ranges from $100-500.
- For those being picked up at our Angleton, Tx location, the fee is $75 and includes all vetting.
Transporation
Ike is available for transportation in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN & OH. Private custom transport routes and destinations are available upon request with financial responsibility on the adopted family. Our animals are brought to you in transport buses or vans equipped with air conditioning for comfort and onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. Our Adoption Coordinator will help to find the closest transport pick up location to you.
