Leroy

This handsome boy is Leroy! He's a 2-year-old mixed breed with a smile that will melt your heart. Leroy came to us when his owner had to make the difficult decision to rehome him due to health issues. He's a super sweet and playful guy who is eager to be part of his forever family. He might give you a big hello with a jump when he first meets you, so a home with very young children might not be the best fit. He enjoys playing with other dogs but can be a bit dominant, especially with male dogs. He would likely do best with a laid-back female dog friend or as the only canine companion. Leroy shows some interest in cats, but with a confident kitty, he should be just fine.

Ideal Home

Leroy would love a home with a large, fenced yard where he can romp and play. He's looking for an active adopter who can keep up with his youthful energy. Because he can be a bit vocal, he's not suited for apartment living.

Leroy is a healthy 2-year-old boy with no known health concerns at this time.

Training & Support

Leroy can be enthusiastic when greeting people, so some gentle guidance will help him learn to keep all four paws on the floor.
