Meet Oakley! This handsome 68lb terrier/pitbull mix, born around December 16, 2021, is looking for his forever home. Oakley is a super sweet and independent boy who will be your shadow, always wanting to be in the same room as you. He's a smart cookie, already knowing how to "sit" and "get on your bed." Walks are his absolute favorite, and he's a pro on the leash, though he sometimes needs a reminder to "slow down." He tolerates other dogs but would likely be happiest as the only canine in the house. Oakley does have a prey drive and enjoys chasing cats and squirrels. Despite a tough start in life as a stray who was found emaciated with a severely injured ear, Oakley is full of love and eager to cuddle up by your side. He's waiting to greet you with the sweetest greetings and happy tail wags!

Oakley is located in Houston, TX. Transport is available out of state to Eastern, Western, and neighboring states. We coordinate with third-party transport services that operate weekly or monthly. Adopters can track the transport van via the Life360 app or Facebook chats.
