About WOLFIE > Bleeding Heart Society

Wolfie is a stunning approximately one-year-old male who weighs about 63 lbs. He's a very people-friendly pup who has shown no reaction to cats and loves children. He also hasn't shown any reactivity to other dogs, making him a great potential companion for many households! Wolfie is an athletic boy with a high energy level, rating a healthy 8 out of 10. He truly enjoys activity, living life to the fullest, and joyful play. He's a big baby who loves giving and receiving kisses, hugs, and snuggles. Wolfie is also a gentle soul, taking treats with a soft mouth, even high-value ones!

He's a very smart boy, especially considering he's spent a good portion of his life in isolation. Wolfie already knows how to sit on command without any training and is very in tune with communication. His unique, coyote-like coloring makes him stand out, and everyone who sees him loves his gorgeous looks. Wolfie loves life, which includes treats, walks, adventures, and attention. He'd choose walks and adventures over treats any day, though he is very food-motivated! Like many huskies, he isn't thrilled about being confined. He's fairly independent and has a knack for making people laugh.

Ideal Home

Wolfie would thrive in an active household or with an individual or couple who enjoys activities like hiking and is eager to engage with him.

Ongoing Health

There are no known health concerns for Wolfie.

Training & Support

Wolfie is clean in his kennel and not messy, leading us to believe he'll learn quickly with consistent structure. He has never lived in a house before, so becoming familiar with indoor living will be a new experience for him. A slow introduction to a home environment is recommended, and he should adjust well. His leash walking starts with excitement and exploration, but he follows instructions well and doesn't pull much once he's had a chance to sniff around. He is well-behaved in the car and shows no issues. Wolfie has a high food drive and a standard prey drive. He has no known storm or separation anxiety or other behavioral issues.
