Toby

Toby is a floppy, ridiculous, joyful goofball who will make you laugh on your worst days. He's the dog who's velcroed to your side during movie night on the couch, and methodically dismantling a squeaky or stuffed toy five minutes later. He's crate trained, house trained, and quick to learn. He is one year old and weighs sixty pounds. Toby is the youngest dog in Underdog's history to test positive for heartworm, and determined to bounce back from it. Treatment is done and recovery is underway. By mid-July, he's fully cleared and ready to run as much as he can handle. Toby survived something most dogs never have to face. He came out the other side wagging his tail and looking for love. All he needs now is you.

Ideal Home

Toby does best in a home without shared walls, as a busy, noisy apartment wasn't his scene. He has been great with kids 10 and up, though he might be a bit much for younger kids. He plays well with other dogs when introduced correctly.

Ongoing Health

Toby tested positive for heartworm and has completed treatment. He is currently in recovery and will be fully cleared by mid-July.

Training & Support

Toby is crate trained and house trained and is a quick learner. He can be a bit much for younger children due to his enthusiasm.

Transporation

Our animals live in foster homes throughout the Madison area. We do not have a shelter where animals are available for daily viewing. Applications are the first step in our process.
