Say hello to William, a 5-year-old, 85-pound Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix who thinks people are the absolute best thing since rotisserie chicken. This big white fluff has perfected the art of leaning into you for maximum petting. If adoration were an Olympic sport, he’d be bringing home the gold!

Ideal Home

William needs to be the only dog in the home, as he wants zero competition for your attention. He has also decided that cats are not okay, so he will need a no-cat home. He is a flock guardian to the bone, and this isn't a dog for a first-timer. He'll do best in a home with no kids or teens and up. This is because he likes them too much and little kids have friends they like to bring home, which can become overwhelming for him as he tries to guard all that tininess. He considers kids badly behaved sheep who do things that put them at risk. William needs a home with an owner experienced with flock guardian dogs. A securely fenced yard is non-negotiable, as he will roam the perimeter he decides is his without a fence. He loves being outside where he can supervise his kingdom, but his greatest joy is being right next to you.
