Kaylee

Kaylee is a sweet 10-year-old, 11lb Cockapoo who is looking for a calm and loving retirement home. She's a quiet companion who enjoys gentle play with her toys, cuddling with her favorite people, and being by your side. Kaylee is very food motivated, which can be a great asset for training! She came to us when her beloved person passed away.

Ideal Home

Kaylee thrives in a quiet, calm home where her person is around often and not left alone for long periods. She loves to be on the furniture and sleep with her people. She would prefer to be the only dog in the home, but she is friendly with other dogs and cats. She can be possessive of her toys and treats, so a home with older children who understand and respect a dog's boundaries would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Kaylee has IBS and is currently managed with medication and prescription food. Her foster has also found success with homemade food options to keep her condition under control. She is spayed, vaccinated, HW negative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Kaylee is housebroken and will let you know when she needs to go out. She enjoys supervised play in a secure fenced yard or walks on a harness. Kaylee benefits from leadership, consistency, and structure, and continued training is recommended. She will need about two weeks to settle into her new home without visitors to allow her to adjust and build trust.
