Sugar Reed is a delightful 5-month-old, 20-pound bundle of joy! While we suspect she might be a Labrador Retriever and Pit Bull mix, her exact lineage is a charming mystery, as is common with our rescue pups. Her days are filled with the delightful puppy routine of eating, playing with her siblings, and enjoying plenty of naps. Ideal Home
Sugar Reed is looking for a family who understands the commitment involved in raising a young puppy. She needs a home that can provide consistent training, ample socialization, and the dedication that puppyhood requires. Establishing a routine, setting clear boundaries, and providing proper socialization from the start are crucial for her development into a well-rounded adult dog. We require all adoptive families to commit to crate training her immediately upon arrival to aid in potty training, energy management, and her overall growth.
Ongoing Health
Sugar Reed is a healthy puppy. She has received a DAPP vaccine with a booster, Bordetella vaccine, and a Rabies vaccine. She has also undergone multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, has been flea and tick treated, and received a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also had a heartworm test. A health certificate deeming her healthy for travel will be provided.
Training & Support
As a young puppy, Sugar Reed is still learning about the world, and each day shapes her personality. Implementing routine, structure, setting boundaries, and proper socialization are key from the start. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy immediately upon arrival, which will assist with potty training, energy management, and the overall development of a well-rounded adult dog.

- The adoption fee is $1,000.00, which includes all vetting (as listed in Ongoing Health), spay/neuter, microchip with free lifetime registration, a high-quality nylon Martingale collar, health certificate, cost of transport, and her unconditional love for years to come.
- An $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
Transporation
Sugar Reed is currently in Texas and can be transported to various locations nationwide. Our rescue uses a USDA-certified transport system with 24/7 care, ensuring safe and comfortable travel. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You'll have the ability to track her journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
