Nala

Meet Nala, a beautiful 4-year-old, 50-pound Basenji mix with a loving heart and a playful spirit. She's already spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and up-to-date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Nala is kennel trained, potty trained, and settles down nicely in her crate after a day of fun. She enjoys playtime and would be thrilled to have another playful dog as a companion. She has also lived successfully with cats in the past!

Nala can be a bit cautious when meeting new people, as she hasn't always had the easiest life. She needs a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time to build. Once you earn her trust, her loyalty is unwavering, and she forms deep, lasting bonds.

Ideal Home

Nala would do best in a quiet household with one or two adults who can allow her to settle in at her own pace. A confident, playful dog companion would be a wonderful addition to her home.

Nala is up-to-date on all her medical needs and is ready to go to her new home.

Training & Support

Nala has some resource-guarding tendencies with food and toys. She needs an adopter who is experienced or willing to continue managing these behaviors appropriately.
