Wilson

Wilson is a 1-year-old French bulldog puppy with a cleft palate. He has had no trouble eating or drinking and does not require surgical repair; he simply needs his food prepared with a specific consistency. We will discuss cleft care and feeding instructions in detail with his approved adopter. Wilson is crate-trained and was doing exceptionally well with potty training until recently. He's been experiencing some regression, so his adopter will need to offer plenty of patience, consistency, and training.

Wilson has a cleft palate and requires a specific food consistency for eating and drinking. This will be discussed thoroughly with his adopter.

Training & Support

Wilson is crate-trained and has a good foundation of manners, including waiting for meals, asking permission before eating dropped food, and waiting for commands to exit his crate or cross thresholds. He is currently regressing with potty training and will need a patient adopter dedicated to consistent training. As a French bulldog, these learned behaviors require ongoing reinforcement.
