Hi there, I'm Millie, a sweet, smart, and food-motivated 12-year-old pit bull mix who is looking for a forever family! I weigh 50 pounds and am spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I'm also house, crate, and leash trained, and I walk great on the leash. Car rides are one of my favorite things!
While I'm a loving girl, I have faced some challenges. I can be a bit wary of men, but with patience and trust, I know we can build a strong bond. I also tend to be a fear snapper, so a calm and confident person who can help me feel safe and secure is essential. Because of my anxieties, I may guard my resources, like food from other dogs or treats from humans. I might react if you approach me while I'm enjoying a bone.
I'm good with children who understand and respect my boundaries, and I'd do best with older kids who recognize that I'm a sensitive soul. I'm also selective with other dogs and prefer a friendly, easygoing companion who won't overwhelm me. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of cats.

A home that can offer a peaceful and loving environment where I can feel safe and secure. I would do best with older children who understand my needs. I am not a good fit for homes with cats.

I am house, crate, and leash trained and walk well on a leash. I can be wary of men and may fear snap, so patience and a calm approach are key. I also guard resources like food, treats, and bones, so please give me space when I am enjoying them.
