Beauregard

Beauregard, who goes by Beau, is a sweet, calm, and loving boy with a playful spirit! He came to us after a difficult transition when his owner passed away. While initially stressed and anxious in a kennel environment, Beau quickly blossomed once he felt safe and loved. He's a smart pup who is crate trained, rides well in a car, and enjoys his walks, though he does have a terrier's nose for adventure and will pull on the leash to sniff everything! We believe he's a delightful mix of Jack Russell terrier and Australian cattle dog.

Ideal Home

Beau would do well in a home with older children. He is not a fan of cats.

Ongoing Health

Beau was found to be heartworm positive. He received his Proheart 6 injection on July 2, 2026, and is on his way to recovery, but will require several months of follow-up care and vetting.

Training & Support

Beau was accustomed to living outdoors. While he had a few marking incidents when first introduced to indoor living, he has since settled in well. He is generally good with other dogs and shows no fear of men or women.
