Buddy - TRAINING CAMP

Buddy is a sweet, confident boy who truly thrives in a home that provides structure, clear boundaries, and consistency. He’s very food-motivated, which makes him eager to learn and a great candidate for continued training. On walks, Buddy shines—he’s attentive and regularly checks in with his handler to make sure he’s keeping pace and doing the right thing. He genuinely looks to his person for guidance, making him a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys an engaged, responsive dog. Buddy does have a good amount of energy and would love an active home where he can enjoy playtime, games of fetch, or even longer runs. The best part? Once he’s had his exercise, he settles down beautifully and knows how to relax and unwind. Buddy is currently participating in a 10-week training program through the Greyhound Advancement Center, which will conclude in mid-July. This program pairs dogs with inmates who are learning dog training skills, providing valuable obedience training and socialization for the dogs.
