He's making amazing progress in his foster home and is ready for the next chapter of his life. Joey is a low-key boy who is content to just lay at your feet. He is completely trustworthy and non-destructive. He is also cat-friendly and doesn't bother the resident cats at all. Joey is fully crate trained, has excellent recall, and is great on his daily walks. He thrives on a predictable routine!

Joey is a sensitive guy who is highly attached and relaxed with his foster mom. However, he is still very guarded and nervous around men and fast movements. He is looking for a quiet, calm, and predictable home environment, so no loud or hyper households. He would do best in a home without young children. A patient adopter, ideally female or someone prepared to let him bond at his own slow pace, is essential, as building trust takes time. Once Joey feels safe, his happy-go-lucky, sweet personality truly shines, and he is a loyal companion waiting for the right person to show him the world isn't so scary.
