Finn

Meet Finn! This handsome 3-year-old boy is a survivor of heartbreak. Finn and his canine companion arrived at the shelter after their owner was hospitalized, and sadly, he has since passed away. This loss left Finn understandably shut down, scared, and overwhelmed by his new surroundings. We've been giving him plenty of space and patience, allowing him to decompress at his own pace. The first time we saw a tiny tail wag was a moment of pure joy, a glimmer of hope from a dog who has been through so much. Finn walks beautifully on a leash and perks up at the sound of a squeaky toy. He currently resides in a crate at the shelter, and we know he deserves a much quieter and more peaceful home. While we'd love for Finn and his friend to be adopted together, our priority is getting them into safe, loving homes where they can begin to heal.

Ideal Home

Finn would thrive in a quiet home where he can continue to decompress. We are asking for no children at this time due to the significant changes and trauma he has experienced.

Training & Support

Finn is still learning to trust and needs a patient adopter who will go slow with him, offering kindness and understanding. He has a lot of love to give once he feels safe.
