Winnie

Winnie is a beautiful, approximately 1-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix who is the complete package. She's fully vetted and ready to find the family she's been waiting for. Winnie came to us through a lifesaving transfer from McMinn Regional Humane Society. She jumped right into playgroup with several of our dogs and fit in beautifully. She also spent the day on a special outing with our off-site volunteer, Meaghan, who takes shelter dogs on adventures to experience life beyond the kennel. Meaghan's review? "This girl is GOLD." Winnie is gentle, eager to please, affectionate, and has wonderful manners. She loves exploring, enjoys being with people, and has a calm, easygoing personality that makes everyone fall in love with her.

Ideal Home

We think Winnie would make an outstanding family dog. She should do great with respectful children, and based on her gentle temperament, we believe she could very likely cohabitate with a cat with proper introductions.

Ongoing Health

Winnie is spayed, heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, flea treated, and dewormed. She is also microchipped.

Training & Support

Winnie has wonderful manners and is eager to please.
