SKIP (Handsome, Sweet, Playful, Active, Loves Water--SEE NEW VIDEO)

Meet Skipper! He's a handsome, sweet, and playful 4-month-old Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie mix who currently weighs 25 pounds. Skip had a rough start, being found huddled under a pile of brush with his brothers after being abandoned. Thankfully, a kind couple rescued him and his siblings, and now Skip is ready to find his forever family!

Skip absolutely loves the water and enjoys playing in his puppy pool, snorkeling for leaves. His unique look features one ear up and one ear down, and he has longer legs and dew claws, which might hint at some Anatolian Shepherd or Great Pyrenees in his lineage. He's a smart pup who walks well on a harness, is crate trained, and is making great progress with house training. Skip is also a calm and quiet traveler, making him an ideal road trip companion! He enjoys chasing balls, is learning "sit," and loves a good wrestle with his brother. Given his young age and adaptable nature, he would likely adjust well to living with a cat.

Skip would thrive in an active home where he can join in on family outings and adventures.

Ongoing Health

Skip is microchipped and up-to-date on his shots. He will be adopted with a neuter contract. The adopter will be responsible for the cost of neutering when he reaches the appropriate age, as determined by a veterinarian. Proof of neutering will be required by the rescue.

Training & Support

Skip is working on house training and learning "sit." He is crate trained and walks well on a harness.
