Meet Otis! This handsome 2-year-old, 50-pound American Staffordshire Terrier mix is neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready to find his forever home. Otis was adopted as a puppy and sadly returned to a shelter. He was suffering from a severe skin condition, but thankfully, his foster has worked wonders, and he's now thriving with a shiny new coat he's very proud of! Otis is resilient, joyful, sweet, and goofy, showering everyone with love. He's attentive to positive reinforcement and eager to please.
Ideal Home
Otis would love a moderately active home that also enjoys cozy snuggle sessions. He does well with other dogs of various sizes and would absolutely love a canine sibling. Due to his size and enthusiasm (he can jump), dog-savvy older children would likely be the best fit. We are unsure how he would do with cats.
Ongoing Health
Otis has fully recovered from a past severe skin condition and is now healthy with a beautiful coat.
Training & Support
Otis is fully housebroken and potty trained. He is crate trained and sleeps soundly in his crate overnight, especially with a Kong toy. He shows no signs of separation anxiety, destruction, food aggression, or resource guarding. He is fed separately to ensure a calm environment. While he walks well on a leash, he can pull a little at the start due to excitement.
