Sammy

Sammy is a sweet 10-year-old boy who came to us after a difficult start in life, having lived on a chain and suffering from parasites. He was underweight, but with care and treatment, he's gained 8 pounds and his personality has truly blossomed! He's now a bouncy, playful pup who loves people and is always wagging his tail. Sammy is smart and food-motivated, making him a great candidate for training. He's currently working with our volunteers and showing great progress. His past experiences mean he's still learning how to share, so he would do best in a home where he can be the only pet and there are no small children. Sammy dreams of finding a cozy couch to call his own for the holidays and forever.

Sammy would thrive in a home where he can be your one-and-only furry companion and where small children are not present.

Ongoing Health

Sammy has been treated for parasites and is now healthy and happy! He has been neutered.

Training & Support

Sammy is a smart, food-motivated boy who is eager to learn. He is still working on learning to share, so patience and positive reinforcement will be key to his continued success.
