Oso is a 5-year-old German Shepherd/Hound mix with soulful eyes and a heart of gold. He doesn't give his affection easily, but when he chooses you, he is your most devoted companion. He’s a gentle and quiet boy who blossoms into the sweetest love bug, soaking up pets and leaning in for affection. He's a wonderfully low-maintenance and low-energy dog, happy with a comfy place to nap, leisurely walks, occasional car rides, and his favorite people nearby. Oso has mastered the art of relaxing and is an excellent co-pilot for errands and adventures, riding beautifully in the car. He can be a little shy when meeting new people and appreciates being allowed to move at his own pace. With patience, kindness, and tasty treats, his personality will bloom, revealing a sweet boy with a silly happy tail, impeccable manners, and a deep capacity for love. He's looking for someone willing to give him a chance, and in return, he’ll offer a bond built on trust, loyalty, and unconditional love.
Ideal Home
Oso would thrive in a home where he can be given patience and kindness as he warms up to new people. He is happy as an only pet or with doggy friends, and has shown to be respectful and polite around cats.

Transport is available nationwide through our rescue run USDA certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will be able to track their journey in real time.
