Meet Fritz!
Fritz is a spunky, fun-loving German Wirehaired Pointer mix who is approximately 8 weeks old. He was found as a young puppy, abandoned and nearly hit by a car. Despite his rough start, Fritz is now thriving and showing off his delightful personality! He has the classic markings, facial structure, and oversized paws we expect from his breed, and he's estimated to be over 50 lbs when fully grown. Fritz is a smart and adventurous pup with a moderate energy level, perfect for an active family. He loves puzzle toys and anything that challenges his clever mind. He's already mastered his name and is working on his "sit," motivated by treats and eager to please. While he's still learning to sleep through the night independently and is an early riser (around 4:30 AM), with consistent training and patience, he'll be a wonderful companion. Fritz is incredibly loving, friendly, and social, doing well with people, children, and other dogs. He is currently teething, so supervision is recommended around younger children as he learns boundaries. Fritz has a bright future ahead and is ready to fill his forever home with joy and puppy antics.
Ideal Home
Fritz would thrive in an active home that can provide him with plenty of mental stimulation and opportunities for adventure. As he is still learning, continued crate training and puppy structure are essential. His early rising habits mean his family should be prepared for a 4:30 AM start to the day.
Ongoing Health
Fritz is fully vaccinated for his age, dewormed, microchipped, and on monthly flea and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Fritz is eager to learn and food-motivated, making training a rewarding experience. He is working on his "sit" and is learning to sleep independently. Puppy supervision is recommended due to teething and occasional mouthiness. Consistent training, patience, and time are key to his continued development.
