Diana is a 5-month-old Pit Terrier/Labrador Retriever mix with the sweetest soul and a charming puppy personality. She's energetic and playful, but also enjoys her naps and cuddle sessions, making her a balanced companion. She absolutely thrives on affection and attention, always eager for pets and quality time with her people. Diana loves to be included in all the fun and is a quick learner, already knowing how to sit and rapidly picking up new commands like "paw," "lay down," and "stay." Treats are definitely her love language, making training a joy!

She's making great progress with crate training and is showing steady improvement in potty training. Diana and her siblings follow a consistent routine of scheduled meals, crate time, playtime, and training sessions. They currently sleep together and still need overnight potty breaks, so her new family should be prepared to continue this routine as she matures. Diana is very food motivated, which has been a great asset in her training. She's also learning important skills like impulse control and patiently waiting for her meals.

Diana currently lives with her siblings and an older dog. Like many puppies, she's learning appropriate play manners and how to interact with other dogs, and she continues to benefit from guidance and consistent boundaries. She's a smart, loving puppy who is eager to please and will blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion with the right family.

Ongoing Health

Diana is up-to-date on all her vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. She has also had a heartworm test.

Training & Support

Diana is already working on crate training and potty training, with steady progress being made. She is learning appropriate play manners and benefits from consistent boundaries. She is eager to learn and responds well to positive reinforcement and treats.

Transporation

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, and connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page.
