Freya

Freya is a 10-year-old lady who joined our rescue with her adult children after being found living outdoors. Don't let her age fool you – she's a bundle of energy who loves to play fetch! Freya is a professional snuggler and champion burrower, often found cozied up under her blankets like a true Chihuahua. She's done well with confident cats and has even learned to appreciate dogs outside of her own breed, realizing that an inclusive world is a better one!

Ideal Home

Freya would do best in a home with older children, around 8 years and up, as she can be intimidated by very young ones. She enjoys the company of confident cats and has become more accepting of dogs. Freya has a unique potty system: she will not go outside in the rain, opting for her screened porch instead.

Ongoing Health

Freya is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and has had a wellness visit. Her adoption fee covers her spay/neuter surgery, microchip, and food.

Training & Support

Freya has a specific potty preference and will need a family who can accommodate her need to avoid the rain when doing her business.
