Jimmy is a devoted, two-year-old Hound/Labrador Retriever mix with a tricolor coat and a big heart. His journey has brought him from the streets of Iraq to a life filled with love and hope. He's a gentle, soulful pup who is learning every day what it means to be part of a family, and he's nailing it! With his goofy teddy bear in tow, he adores long walks, belly rubs, and soaking up every bit of affection you have to offer. Whether you're lounging on the couch or heading out for an adventure, Jimmy is your guy! Loyal, cuddly, and ready to be your shadow from morning coffee to bedtime snuggles. This 60-pound sweetheart is house-trained, fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. While formal obedience training hasn’t been part of his past, Jimmy is eager to please and learning new things daily. Though he may be startled by sudden rear touches or loud yelling, Jimmy’s temperament is affectionate and responsive. He’s done well with some dogs at parks and in boarding, though he can be selective with his canine companions. What makes Jimmy especially endearing is his remarkable trust in people despite his challenging start in life. He greets each day with hope, loyalty, and the desire to bond deeply. His current caregiver calls him "a great dog and loving companion," and it's clear he's ready to bring that same comfort and joy into the heart of a new family.
Ideal Home
Jimmy thrives in a calm, confident home and would do best as the only pup, where he can have all the love and space to himself. A fenced yard is ideal for him to stretch his legs and chase a toy or two.

Jimmy is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.
Training & Support
Formal obedience training hasn’t been part of his past, but Jimmy is eager to please and learning new things daily. With the right guidance and continued positive reinforcement, he’s bound to blossom even more! He may be startled by sudden rear touches or loud yelling.
