Chance

Meet Chance, a charming 4-year-old neutered and vaccinated Staffie mix with an old soul and a heart full of love. He was rescued from an overcrowded shelter in Houston after being found abandoned in an apartment. Chance is the perfect blend of sweet, goofy, and affectionate, always sporting a smile that's sure to brighten your day.

Ideal Home

Chance would thrive in a home with a predictable routine. He'd do well with a semi-active family that has older children who can match his playful energy without being overwhelmed. He also enjoys the company of other large, playful dogs, especially those around his size. Due to his strong prey drive, he will need a home without cats.

Ongoing Health

Chance is up-to-date on vaccinations. He is not a fan of crates with closed doors but is happy to rest in an open crate or any cozy spot.

Training & Support

Chance is fully house-trained and lets you know when he needs to go out. He's a smart pup who learns routines quickly. While he can be a bit stubborn when focused on something like squirrels, the word "cookie" is his magic word for remembering his manners! His love for treats makes him an excellent candidate for continued training. He also has a funny habit of grunting to remind you if you're running late.
