Meet Goyo! This handsome boy is one of the sweetest souls we have ever rescued. For weeks, he wandered alone, too exhausted and scared to let anyone catch him, until one determined woman waited for him and finally got him the help he desperately needed. He arrived underweight, anemic, and battling ehrlichia, mange, and later, we discovered he also had TVT. Goyo completed all his treatments like a champ and is now healthy and ready for a fresh start.
Goyo is a quiet, gentle boy who absolutely LOVES affection. He is great with other dogs, mostly ignoring them, and melts when people give him attention. Every now and then, his playful side pops out with a little jump or a soft hand nibble, just enough to remind you he still has so much joy in him. He's a calm, sweet, and deeply loyal mixed breed with a Shepherd/Malinois appearance, born in April 2019, weighing about 18 kg. He has a docked tail, likely from birth. Goyo has survived so much, and all he wants now is a quiet, loving home where he can finally rest and be adored.

Transporation
Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. We adopt to the US and Canada. Approved adopters will be matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet your new pup at the airport to welcome them home. During the summer months, if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable, dogs may fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border. We have successfully completed many adoptions over the summer with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border.
