Bedford

Meet Bedford! (Est DOB 2023) This sweet boy was found as a stray but clearly was someone's beloved pet at some point. He came to us very well-trained and is looking for companionship. Bedford has what we call a healthy dose of Stranger Danger and can be a little weary of new people, greeting them with a growl or snarl, especially behind a fence or barrier. Once he gets to know you and warms up, he's an absolute love! Bedford is very smart and very sweet, but he definitely needs an experienced dog owner. He loves toys, going on walks, showing off his skills, and being with his person. Bedford would do well with another friendly dog, or he'd be fine as your one and only guy.

Ideal Home

Bedford needs an adult-only home that is quiet with not a lot of strangers coming and going. He would be a great dog to accompany someone on hikes or adventures, as he is great meeting people out in the world, but he is protective over his space and would not do well in a home with lots of friends visiting frequently.

Ongoing Health

Bedford has no known health issues.

Training & Support

Bedford is a well-trained dog but needs an experienced owner who understands his "Stranger Danger" and protective nature of his space. He enjoys walks and showing off his skills.
