Cally is a 3.5-year-old spayed female Pitbull mix, weighing about 40 pounds. She's a high-energy, happy-go-lucky girl with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. Cally is playful, affectionate, curious, and endlessly kind – the type of dog who brings joy and laughter everywhere she goes. She has a charming habit of giving the biggest, silliest smiles when she's getting affection and is a world-class cuddler. Sometimes she even gets spontaneous zoomies that make her look like a flying baby goat!
Ideal Home
Cally would love a home with plenty of opportunities for playtime and exercise, at least twice a day. She thrives with structure, exercise, and love. While she enjoys playing with other dogs of all sizes and could play for hours, having another dog is not required. She is also excellent with children of all ages and enjoys meeting new people. She does best sleeping alone in her crate, so a home where she can have her own space for rest would be ideal.
Ongoing Health
Cally is up-to-date on vaccinations and spayed. She is house-trained and crate-trained.
Training & Support
Cally may pull on the leash when first starting out due to excitement, but she calms down with continued training. She is still learning to have full freedom indoors and needs supervision to prevent chewing on shoes or blankets. Cally needs to be separated from other dogs during mealtimes due to resource guarding around food, though she is fine with humans. Feeding her in her crate works best. She is very food-motivated, making training enjoyable and rewarding.
