Chico

Chico is a young, playful guy with a bright spirit, though shelter life has taken a toll. He was found as a stray and no owner has come to claim him. Chico is a bit thin but is gaining weight. He's a smart dog with a lot of potential, and we're confident he'll return to the happy-go-lucky boy he once was with the right support. He enjoys romping around, playing with toys, and playing fetch. Chico is a gentleman when it comes to sharing his food and toys.

Ideal Home

Chico needs a quiet adult-only home. He would also benefit from living with a calm, stable dog. He would do best in a home familiar with XL breeds. He is not suitable for a home with children.

Ongoing Health

Chico is a bit underweight but is being worked with to reach a healthy weight.

Training & Support

Chico has developed some behaviors in the shelter that will require an owner willing to work with him. He can be picky about who he likes.
