Meet Grizzy!

Grizzy is the kind of dog who makes a house feel like home. This sweet 4-year-old boy came to us from a high-risk shelter and has been waiting far too long for his forever family. Two years is a long time to be overlooked, especially for a dog as easy, loving, and loyal as Grizzy. He's a laid-back couch potato at heart, but don't let that fool you. Grizzy also loves a good long walk, enjoys playing ball, and is always happy to spend time with his people. He's the perfect balance of chill companion and fun adventure buddy. Around the house, Grizzy is as easy as they come. He loves to settle under the table while you eat or work, and if you're sitting still long enough, chances are he'll be laying right on your feet. He just wants to be close. He's affectionate, gentle, sweet, and has a way of making you feel like you're his whole world. After everything he's been through, Grizzy is ready for the life he's always deserved: a soft couch, a loving family, walks around the neighborhood, a ball to chase, and someone who will finally choose him for good. Grizzy is ready to be your best friend. All he needs is a chance.

Ideal Home

Grizzy has done well with kids and other dogs his size. He has not been tested with cats, so a feline-free home would be best.

Ongoing Health

Grizzy is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Grizzy is house-trained and knows basic commands. He is a loving companion who just wants to be close to his people.
