Serenity

Serenity has been without a home for over four years! We found her in June of 2019 at a local boarding facility, where she had been abandoned by another rescue over two years prior. We couldn't leave this sweet girl in a back-room crate any longer, so we moved her to a wonderful boarding facility that provided her with exercise and socialization. After a year in boarding, she finally found a foster home.

Since her rescue, Serenity has made incredible progress. She was extremely overweight and heartworm positive when she came to us, but she is now healthy and heartworm negative. She has come a long way with a lot of training and love.

Ideal Home

Serenity has some separation anxiety, but she's improved greatly. She would do best in a home where her humans are present most of the time. She prefers to be the only dog, but she has made friends with dogs who have similar, relaxed personalities. She is NOT good with any small pets or animals.

Ongoing Health

Serenity was heartworm positive upon arrival and has since been treated and is now heartworm negative. She is current on all vaccinations and preventative care.

Training & Support

Serenity needs a strong handler who will continue to work with her on all she has learned and be mindful of her surroundings on walks.

• An adoption fee applies ($150-$400 for dogs, plus 8.25% state tax). The fee includes spay/neuter, all shots, deworming, and microchip.
• All pets are current on heartworm/flea/tick prevention.
