Meet Puka! This scruffy-faced dude is as cute as a button and even has a spotted, cool-looking tongue! He's a pretty confident pup who is going to make a wonderful dog. Puka is comfortable approaching new people and other animals. He keeps a clean crate at night and when his foster family is out of the home. Puka is great with other dogs of all sizes, has been good with the resident cat, and even farm animals like ducks, chickens, goats, and a lamb! He enjoys daily walks in the woods and crosses creeks with ease. He loves playing in water and has been known to splash around in the big water dish. Puka stays close to the pack and is starting to sniff and roll around in the grass and dirt. He's becoming more playful and enjoys a good chase with the other resident dogs. He's doing pretty well with potty training, but still goes out frequently with the other dogs. His nails and teeth are super sharp, and while we are working on his jumping and nipping, please remember he is still very young and learning. A picture of his mom, Clover, is included in his photos.

Ongoing Health
Puka will be current on vaccinations and deworming at the time of adoption. He will also come with a pre-scheduled appointment at our vet to be spayed or neutered, which the adopter is obligated to keep. He will be microchipped at this time.
Training & Support
Puka is working on his jumping and nipping, as he is still very young and learning. Foster puppies are typically NOT potty trained and require time and patience from their adopter. Please be sure you are ready to add a puppy to your home and are prepared for the time and effort it takes to raise one.

- Our puppy adoption fee is $400 plus a $50 training deposit, which is refunded to the adopter when they provide proof of having completed a basic obedience class with their puppy.
- References, both personal and veterinarian, will be checked.
- A home visit is required before adoption.
Transportation
We only adopt to our local WNY region.
