Bella

Meet Bella! This sweet Staffordshire Terrier is a champion snuggler who absolutely adores being close to her person. She's incredibly people-oriented and thrives on affection and companionship. Bella was surrendered to the SPCA when her previous family moved, and after a brief foster period, she experienced an unfortunate dog attack. This has understandably made her a bit wary around other dogs, so she'd be happiest as the sole pet in her new home, where she can feel safe and truly relax.

Bella has wonderful manners and loves spending time with her family. She enjoys her daily walks and is a good leash walker, though she might get a little excited and do a happy "tap dance" if she sees a squirrel or cat. A trip to Three Dog Bakery is a favorite outing for Bella, where she delights in picking out a special treat and soaking up the attention. Each morning, she greets the day with a full-body wiggle and a joyful flip onto her back – guaranteed to bring a smile to your face! She gives the best "flea kisses," loves to cuddle, and will gently hug your hand when you return home.

Bella enjoys chewing on bones, watching birds and squirrels (and adorably attempting to climb trees!), and would make an excellent travel companion. She loves car rides and would be your perfect co-pilot for RV adventures. She does have a mild fear of fireworks and will need extra comfort during loud celebrations. Bella cannot be crated, but she is doggy-door trained, has excellent potty habits, and is respectful in the home. More than anything, Bella longs for a safe haven and a loving person to call her own.

Ideal Home

Bella would thrive in a home where she can be the only pet, allowing her to feel secure and relaxed. She needs a loving person or family who can provide her with affection and companionship.

Ongoing Health

Bella has no specific ongoing health conditions mentioned. All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam and certificate from a veterinarian will be provided within 10 days of adoption.

Training & Support

Bella is doggy-door trained and has excellent potty habits. She is respectful in the home and walks well on a leash. She has a mild fear of fireworks and will need comfort during loud celebrations. She cannot be crated.

• Adoption interviews/meet-and-greets for out-of-state adoptions are conducted via video call.
• The adoption fee for out-of-state adoptions is $350 plus transport. This fee includes vaccinations, deworming, microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter (for pets 6 months & older), and a heartworm test (if over 6 months old).
• Mutt N Such reserves the right to deny any application deemed unsuitable.
• Adoptions are not on a first-come, first-served basis; the goal is to find the best possible home for each animal.

Transporation

Bella is currently fostered in Texas but is available for transport. Dogs are fostered in Texas or Pennsylvania and can be transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue.
