CASSADANO

Cassadano is a Boxer mix who has been with us for nearly two years. He is a fun-loving, goofy, and exceptionally playful dog, especially with other large dogs. He has a wonderful personality that has won over many of our staff and volunteers. Cassadano can be wary of strangers and is not a very cuddly dog, which has unfortunately led to him being passed over. He appreciates meeting new people slowly, but he is well worth the time and effort to become his friend. If you have treats, it might speed up the process!

Ideal Home

Cassadano would do well in a home with another playful, large dog. He needs a patient owner who is willing to take things slow and let him warm up to them on his own time.

Training & Support

Cassadano has a low tolerance for body handling and has snapped when touched or petted. This is usually a warning bite, but it is a bite nonetheless. He needs a skilled handler who can manage this behavior safely.
