Meet Kona, a sweet and playful pup with a heart full of love! Kona is one of eight unique siblings, all born safely at Pet-a-tet Rescue Shelter after their mom, Limona, was rescued from the streets. Thankfully, these puppies never knew life without care and affection. They are expected to be around 5-6 months old when they travel to the USA in August and are eagerly awaiting their forever families. Kona, like her siblings, is described as affectionate, funny, friendly, gentle, smart, playful, and curious, with a special love for kisses.
Ideal Home
Kona would thrive in a home that can provide plenty of love and attention. She is expected to be a large-breed dog, and while her interactions with children 8 and up are unknown, she is listed as good with cats and dogs, and good with children under 8.
Ongoing Health
Kona is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed multiple times, and protected with NexGard. She has also received a health check from veterinarians. As she is expected to be a large-breed dog, she has not yet been spayed or neutered. The veterinarians recommend waiting until she is fully grown and developed before sterilization, which is considered the healthiest option for many large breeds.
Training & Support
Kona is listed as house-trained. As with any puppy, consistent training and positive reinforcement will help her continue to grow into a well-adjusted companion.
