At 5.5 months old, Macie is a brave and brilliant puppy with a zest for life! She and her siblings were found abandoned on a freezing January night, but thanks to kind people, they were rescued and have been thriving in foster care. Macie is an energetic and intelligent pup who is always curious and ready for adventure. She loves to play, especially with other dogs, and is constantly learning and figuring things out. This girl is meant for a life full of excitement and purpose!
Ideal Home
Macie is an active, intelligent puppy who needs an owner committed to providing her with structure, training, and enrichment. She thrives with activity and purpose, and is not a couch potato. We are prioritizing adopters who have experience with herding breeds and understand their needs. She would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy children and may be an only pet for out-of-state adopters, as finding the right canine playmate can be challenging without a proper introduction.
Ongoing Health
All dogs are vetted by a licensed veterinarian for transport and are spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and microchipped.
Training & Support
Heelers are driven, athletic, and smart dogs that require consistent training and outlets for their energy to prevent frustration or nippy behavior. Macie needs a home that can provide her with the guidance and consistent structure she needs to be her best self.

Transporation
Macie is currently located in South Mississippi. We welcome local and out-of-town adopters. For out-of-town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. Transport to Buc-ee's in Kodak, TN, arrives late on Friday evenings and runs every 2-3 weeks. The adoption fee includes transport to this location. We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.
