Meet Gina!

Gina is a delightful 1-year-old spayed female Belgian Malinois mix, weighing in at 56lbs. She's a sweet pup who was found as a tiny puppy abandoned in a cardboard box near a busy road. Despite her rough start, Gina has blossomed in her foster home and is now ready to find her forever family! She absolutely adores toys, often collecting them and keeping them all in her bed. Gina also enjoys a good game of fetch and can entertain herself.

Ideal Home

Gina would thrive in an active home with someone who will play with her daily and understands the commitment of raising a big, active pup. She'd do well with a family that includes older children (10 and up) who are dog-savvy, as she can be jumpy when excited and is still learning her size. A home with another dog is recommended to keep her company and help her burn off energy. Gina would prefer a cat-free home, as she gets a bit too enthusiastic about neighborhood kitties.

Gina is a healthy young dog.

Training & Support

Gina is house and crate trained and can be crated for up to 8 hours. She walks pretty well on a leash and doesn't show signs of separation anxiety. She does prefer to eat her treats alone and is currently in the "puppy velociraptor stage," so she'll need guidance on appropriate chewing habits. Slow introductions to new dogs are recommended, as she was previously attacked by adult dogs.
