Rac, the raccoony pooch

Meet Rac, the raccoony pooch! This handsome Husky mix is about 1 year old and weighs 62 lbs. Rac is an outgoing and active guy who exudes happiness, especially when he's playing with his dog friends or his foster dad. He loves long walks and new adventures, and while getting into a car isn't his favorite, he enjoys the ride once he's in! Rac can be a little shy at first, but with patience and trust, he becomes a devoted best friend.

Rac was rescued from a winter freeze and has made great progress with his foster family and a trainer. He's doing wonderfully with his canine siblings and is described as a very sweet boy who loves attention.

Ideal Home

An active home that enjoys hikes, playtime with other dogs, and plenty of cuddles. Rac is too energetic for cats.

Ongoing Health

Rac is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Rac is kennel and potty trained. He is dog-friendly.

Transporation

Rac is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and may go to various pickup locations in nearby towns or states. We coordinate with ground transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. Adopters can track their dog's journey via the Life360 app or Facebook chats.
