Ellie is a tiny Dachshund mix born on January 23rd, with the sweetest, softest presence. While she's a bit more reserved than her siblings, she's not fearful. Ellie prefers to observe situations before diving in, much like a quiet spectator. However, her shyness quickly melts away when she realizes affection is on offer. She'll eagerly roll over for belly rubs, showing immediate trust and comfort. You'll often find her sleeping soundly on her back with all four legs in the air, completely relaxed and looking like a little baked potato. She has the classic Dachshund look with her low-rider body, short legs, floppy ears, and soft, slightly worried-looking eyes. Ellie adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with a friendly canine companion to nap beside and follow. Despite not being the loudest, her genuine sweetness makes people fall for her fast. Her mama, Macie, weighs around 15 lbs, so Ellie is expected to remain a small dog. She has a personality that naturally settles into a home, becoming a cherished member of the family.
Ideal Home
Ellie would thrive in a home with another friendly dog. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended.
