She listens well and has learned to sit before her meals, showing just how smart she is and how quickly she'll pick up on new training. Pookie adores toys, especially crinkly ones, those she can really chew, or a Kong filled with a tasty treat. She is still working on not chewing household items, but she's a baby and will readily trade a forbidden item for a toy when offered. She's been enjoying big, plushy dog beds and has taken some incredible naps on them. While Pookie can be a bit skittish around unfamiliar noises and takes a moment to warm up outside, she just needs a few minutes to check her surroundings to feel comfortable. Pookie would do great with another dog in the house. We wouldn't recommend her with a cat unless there's a very slow introduction. She is a huge lover and adores all kinds of people, including children! Her wiggle butt is unmatched when you come home, even if you've only been out of the room for a moment. Pookie is like a little shadow, always following her human to make sure she doesn't miss a thing.
