Rico is an almost 2-year-old, 62 lb male Hound/Rottie mix with a heart full of hope and sweetness, despite a rough start. He was sadly left behind when his previous family moved, but thankfully, the kindness of neighbors and a loving foster family ensured he had a safe haven. Rico has quickly bonded with his foster siblings, who are also large pups, and enjoys playful romps with them. While he takes a little time to warm up to new people, which is understandable given his past, he's a cuddly companion once he feels comfortable. Rico is house-trained and crate-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys his toys without being destructive. He's content to relax indoors but loves to chase balls and romp in the yard with his canine pals. Rico does have a rear leg that sometimes causes him to limp or sit in an unusual way, but it doesn't seem to cause him pain and he's always ready for fun!
